Single (1) station application for fast food operations, security guard units, dry cleaners, liquor stores, convenience stores and more.

Features touch panel switches, indicator lights for power-on, standby, presence alert, talk and listen, internal microphone for clear voice reproduction. Typical Application; Security windows, security gates or kiosk, convenient order filling, pump island or car wash. 3M™ D-20 Intercom, 6-Station 

Supports up to six (6) call station application for gas pump islands, menu boards, loading docks, check-out counters, service bays, offices, retail aisles and more.

Features; indicator lights to show calling station, inputs include optional speaker/microphone, telephone handsets. Typical Applications; pumps, car wash, manager's office, menu boards, check-out counters. 3M™ Convenience Store Intercom System, Signature Series, Model C5000

The 3M™ Convenience Store Intercom System, Model C5000, is designed to solve the communications needs of today's c-store. It can provide wired, wireless or a combination, communications to a maximum of sixteen speaker locations.

This countertop Station Selector System is designed to fit convenience store communication needs. The operator can communicate to a maximum of sixteen speaker locations, for example sixteen gasoline pumps. In addition, up to eight Station Selectors can be used within the building. The All Call feature provides simultaneous communication to all call stations and the system can be configured for two independnent audio channels, allowing two operators to talk to two customers simultaneously. The system can also be configured with wired countertop station selectors, wireless headset intercoms, wireless beltpack intercoms, or any combination.

MicroTouch TPC1000 Touch Sensors, a polyester-based projected capacitive touch screen solution ideal for high-volume mobile display products, such as cell phones, PDAs, MP3 players, and personal navigation systems.

High-Volume, Roll-Form Production ..... MicroTouch TPC1000 Touch Sensor are uniquely manufactured in a roll-to-roll process by applying a variety of patent-pending Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) patterns on lightweight, cost-effective polyester film (PET). The result is an incredibly thin, optically clear projected capacitive touch sensor available to device manufacturers in rolls containing up to 72,000 sensors, depending on size. The roll configuration provides manufacturers with optimal scalability for fluctuating product volumes and production flexibility for changes in product design, component stack-ups and compact integration requirements.

Highly Customizable ..... Easily customized into a variety of shapes and sizes, MicroTouch TPC1000 Touch Sensors can also be designed for touch applications ranging from simple button operation to full X,Y touch screen capabilities. Various material thicknesses are available to meet compact design requirements, currently ranging from 2mil to 5mil in thickness. These ultra-thin touch sensors can be optically laminated to glass or polycarbonate lens for optimal surface durability with touch sensitivity “projected” through the lens. Or, by using hard-coated polyester these sensors can work directly as lightweight touch screens for devices requiring a more economical and thinner touch profile.

A Sophisticated Electronics Solution ..... MicroTouch™ EX II Series Controllers bring flexibility and feature-rich functionality to capacitive and resistive touch screen applications. This high performance electronics platform is based on the innovative MicroTouch™ EX II ASIC, designed to provide higher resolution touch coordinates, on-chip RAM, and a wider operating temperature range. With expanded regulatory approvals, improved power modes, and enhanced ESD and EMI protection, this controller series is a robust solution for popular touch applications.

The EX II series supports both ClearTek™ capacitive and 5-wire resistive touch screens, using the same board size and mounting hole locations. System manufacturers that start with one touch screen technology can move to the other using the same electronic hardware footprint and feature-rich software drivers, simplifying the transition and shortening development cycles. Considered the premium controller for resistive systems, the EX II enables 5-wire resistive touch screens to work in “current-driven” mode, where the X and Y coordinates are calculated with a single measurement, shortening touch response time to 8 ms (typical).

Making the Difference ..... 3M supports the latest communication interfaces by providing both a Serial (RS232) Plug and Play interface and a Universal Serial Bus (USB) interface compliant with the USB Human Interface Device (HID) class. In order to provide integration design flexibility for customers, the new SC series of resistive controllers maintain the same form and fit as the newest MicroTouch™ EX II controllers from 3M. Available in a compact 1" x 2" format, and supporting 4-, 5-, and 8-wire resistive touch screens as well as the specialty resistive products, these controllers are designed for easy integration onto LCD panels.
